Today was the day to get the birthing tub ready to go.
I had never even heard of a birthing tub, but with Joey’s discovery of midwives and home birth, I’ve learned lots of new things. So I sat down with manual and started blowing it up. We’re not supposed to add the water until the big day arrives (let’s hope we have time then…our hot water heater and our well aren’t very big).
I know that this was made to have a baby in, or spend some of the tough part of your labor in… but I’m thinking it would make a great hot tub til then. Maybe I’ll try to talk my bride into letting me fill it up once or twice and trying it out… (never gonna happen).
